2 Ingredient Patriotic M&M’s Sugar Cookie Bars

If you’re getting ready for an awesome Fourth of July backyard party, this Patriotic Sugar Cookie Bar recipe is an awesome quick and easy treat to whip up.

With just two ingredients, sugar cookie dough and M&M’s, this delicious treat whips up in a jiffy.

2 Ingredient for Patriotic M&Ms Sugar Cookie Bars

Ingredients

  • 16.5 oz roll of refrigerated sugar cookie dough, room temperature
  • ½ cup red, white, and blue M&M’s candies

As I said, these ingredients are super easy, Keep in mind you can absolutely substitute homemade sugar cookie dough in this recipe.

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Line a 9×13 inch cake pan with parchment paper.

Step 3: Press the cookie dough into an even layer on top of the parchment paper, in the bottom of the cake pan.

Step 5: Top with a little over half of the M&Ms candies.

Step 6: Bake on the middle rack in the oven for 15-17 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the oven.

Step 7: Add the rest of the M&Ms, as some will have sunk into the cookie dough during baking.

Step 8: Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes, then cut into bars.

It doesn't get much easier than these sugar cookie bars with red, white, and blue M&Ms. A roll of sugar cookie dough and M&Ms are the only ingredients that you will need to make these patriotic treats!
