Disclaimer

Everything I write and present on this blog is for information only. I am constantly learning and evolving. I am not an expert. Everything I write here is based on personal experience or my own thought processes. I present different ways of thinking about various situations including life, business and finance. If you have questions about how any of these topics specifically relate to you, you should hire an expert in that area. I also don’t always update this blog regularly so that means my idea or perception of a topic may be different now versus when the post was originally written.

I’M NOT A PROFESSIONAL

As with anything please seek out the advice of a local, knowledgeable professional before trying or doing anything on this site. I am pretty awesome but I’m not really an expert in any topic I blog about This blog is not meant to replace the advice and instruction of a competent prefessional. If you are a child reading this blog, always consult an adult for assistance with anything you may see here. If you are an adult, please make sure anything you read or try makes sense to you and, if need be, ask for help. You agree to take full responsibility for trying any ideas you see in this blog.

AFFILIATE ADVERTISING

Farmhouse Guide participates in affiliate advertising programs. If you click on a link on this blog it will likely result in me being compensated in some way. Theoretically I could also receive affiliate income by referencing products, linking to websites and/or using product placement in photos or videos. I always present my own opinion, positive or negative, regardless of any affiliate sponsorship. That means that you can be sure that if I say I like something, I do (though that doesn’t mean you will).

PRIVACY POLICY

I collect various information about my visitors. This helps me present better content. This information might include name, email address, gender, location etc. I also may collect your interests, hobbies and other personal information via surveys and quizzes. This information is never sold or shared outside of businesses owned or run by Farmhouse Guide unless we specifically have your permission to do so.  Your information may, however, be used from time to time to send you information about third party products or services we think you may be interested in. Rest assured, those parties will not ever be given your information without your permission.

COOKIES

We use cookies. Cookies help us track visitors, where they go, what they click on, when they leave. Cookies also help our content adjust to your preferences. For example, we may have a box that appears if you are not an email subscriber but goes away once you subscribe. The website is able to do that because a cookie tells the site you are already a subscriber. Cookies can also dictate what ads you are show. Ever wonder how you can be looking at a book on Amazon, then go to your favorite website and there is an Amazon link for the same book…cookies help with that. If you don’t want cookies you can usually setup your browser to not accept them.

EXTERNAL LINKS

We may often link to other helpful blog articles or websites. Sometimes those will be affiliate links, sometimes they won’t be. Either way, I can’t control a 3rd party website. I don’t know how they will use your information or what information they collect from you. Each site should have its own privacy policy page like this one. You should read it and understand it before continuing to utilize any third party site.
